Programming Committee Minutes  2-13-08
 
1.  Meeting convened at 7:18 pm with David Gendron, Randy Stover, John
Pethel and Vic Bedoian in attendance.
 
2.  Minutes of the meeting held on 12-12-07 were approved.
 
3.  The next programs to be evaluated were chosen:  Common Ground and
Mousikes Notes.
 
4.  Review of the proposed program with the working title "Album of the
Year" produced by Vance Kim and Estella Galvan.  The program is a one-hour
magazine format show featuring music, often local music, and interviews with
local artists and creative people in the Valley.  The proposal received
approval by the committee and will air on Fridays at 8 pm, following Move On
Up.
 
5.  Announcement and discussion of William Saroyan Centennial programming
proposed for broadcast throughout the year.
 
6.  A brief review by the Program Director of "Freshno Radio", a new music
program broadcast on Fridays Midnight to 2 am, indicated that the program is
well produced and professionally presented.
 
7.  The date of the next meeting is March 12, 2008.
 
8.  The meeting adjourned at 8:14 pm.
